People seem to be doing intro posts, but I'm kind of small fry and I don't know that I have many followers, let alone followers who don't know who I am, for values of I = Domenika Marzione. Is there anything you want to know? Maybe I should be demanding you (re-)introduce yourselves instead.
My fic at AO3, which is a hilariously incomplete list because I'm twenty-plus years into fandom. I have a horribly long list of stuff I need to upload to AO3 because (a) the website I've been graciously hosted at for a long time is going away and (b) I wrote so much OC-heavy fic in my Stargate days and I didn't think it was 'worthy' of going up on AO3 with an SGA tag. I'm a little torn about uploading the really old stuff, like my Homicide fic or stuff from my first go-round with comics fic because I'm honestly a little worried about looking at it. I was never an awful writer, but I'm a better one now. I already have one of my DCU stories going up at AO3 as anonymous because I don't want to look at it. (It's slash!) And we're just going to completely forget that I wrote Prequel SW fic because that is the fandom I deeply regret writing in because I did it for the wrong reasons and tried (and failed) to yank it from M&A fifteen years ago.
So how about this: you got questions, I presumably got answers. You want to (re-)introduce yourself because it's been a few years, please do and I'll be chuffed to (re-)make your acquaintance. Everyone participates!

Date: 2018-12-10 01:05 (UTC)I think everything but comment fics are now at AO3. So none of the Obsenads either.
Occasionally I get out to put new installments on my Dresden Files/Avengers story, otherwise I'm still working on a five years and counting series in a MCU AU because the tropes have been poor decisions so I'm ignoring them.
And I've figured out how to find which comics I want to borrow from the library, which is good, because I think the streaming is about to kill video.

Also Ties That Bind is still one of my favorite angst fests.

Date: 2018-12-10 01:53 (UTC)I first went "wait, I didn't do FP?" but then I remembered that I started editing it -- oh my god, getting rid of Gambit and Rogue speaking in 'dialect' -- and never finished. I did White Rabbit, which was a bitch and a half to upload. I don't think I have any of my other X-fic up there and that's really at the top of the "rewrite, needs rewrite!" pile.

Date: 2018-12-10 01:56 (UTC)I am currently going through my website's archive and uploading the missing stories into an unrevealed collection on AO3 -- I am horrified at the idea of spamming everyone who has a subscription to me with a thousand new fic notifications for a fandom they might not have signed up for and maybe doing it all at once will mean one notification? But then there's all of the drabblefic and unfinished bits and whatnot that never made the website and I am going to have to go through LJ because I had everything tagged and sorted on delicious, but that's no longer of use.

Date: 2018-12-10 02:14 (UTC)The formatting is the thing that makes importing to AO3 so hard; LJ to AO3 makes some weird things happen and it's easier to copy-paste, but that in turn presents its own issues.

Date: 2018-12-10 01:59 (UTC)And thank you. FB is the first story I wrote in the MCU and the series is something I'm insanely proud of, probably to a fault.

Date: 2018-12-10 03:08 (UTC)I am still in Queens and still prattling on about NY. :) One of the few excellent things about tumblr is that I've found a ton of great things about the city. http://laporcupina.tumblr.com/tagged/new%20york%20city

Date: 2018-12-11 02:10 (UTC)AO3 has a pretty good explanation <a href='https://archiveofourown.org/faq/pseuds?language_id=en"<here</a> and if you still have problems you can contact the support team. If you need to amalgamate two individual AO3 accounts, that's harder. You could go into your work, add your other ID as co-author, then log in as your second ID and remove the first name, but it might be easier just to ask if the AO3 team can do it in bulk.

Date: 2018-12-10 14:02 (UTC)As someone who was in SGA fandom, wandered out of fandom and then wandered back in via MCU, finding that you've been writing in that for years has been a treat. It may not be Yoni and Nancy and the gang, but it's still your dense (and I mean that in the best possible sense), detail-laden writing with all the clever little turns of phrase and humor. I love your characterizations of Steve and Bucky and Nat and Clint.
I was an_kayoh on LJ, but I've been kiratael on Tumblr for the last few years.

Date: 2018-12-10 17:45 (UTC)I've gone from writing quotidian stuff in outer space to ridiculous stuff here on Earth, but I'm very glad to see old faces reading new-to-them fic.

Date: 2018-12-10 17:48 (UTC)I also know that my reaction to my old fic is not other people's reactions to my old fic. But I guess I also worry a little that, like anything else that was enjoyed fifteen years ago, looking at it again with older eyes will spoil the magic.

Date: 2018-12-11 02:28 (UTC)I have to get over myself, basically. I didn't think my OC-heavy fic was supposed to be here, I didn't like making new posts here that were fragments or tiny things that took longer to load than to read....
