Copy-and-pasted directly from Tumblr because I didn't want to dig up the platform-specific links, although the links mostly go to AO3.

All MCU.

Direct roundup links: Jan-June | July | August | Sept. | Oct. | Nov. | (Dec.)

Or, holy carp (and other religious fish), I wrote a lot. All links go to AO3 for ease/LJ posting limits reasons.

Coda: Bucky, Steve, road trip.

Artefactual: Steve was more than happy to look through the notebooks with him because if Bucky was going to trust Steve's narrative of his history over his own, well, Steve had always thought the world of James Buchanan Barnes and it was going to show.

Still Life: Steve Rogers and a very modern form of art therapy. (The one where Steve draws himself out of despair and into some notoriety when his cartoons hit the internet, but he's still not allowed to look at Tumblr without an okay from Pepper.)

Qeryana: Thor and his efforts to live on Midgard, as opposed to just defending it.

The Semiotics of Comestibles (aka the Roast Chicken Caper): In which there are jello molds and a dick joke (they’re related) and visits to politically relevant locations, Steve is a bit of a yenta, Bucky is metaphorically chased by a frozen chicken, Natasha goes to extreme measures to apologize, and everyone’s okay in the end.

Practicum: The Winter Soldier watches the youngest Black Widow the Red Room has ever produced prove her worth.

The Man IN Time: What was supposed to be a quick sketch to bring Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes into the modern era turned into a 2000 word bullet-pointed opus.

Present Participle: Tony has a proposition for Steve post-CA:TWS, although 'proposition' implies that Steve thinks he can say 'no.'

Fermata: Natasha Romanova and Nick Fury: two wounded warriors and their wars, past and present.

No Angel: The flightpath of Sam Wilson from Afghanistan to DC.

Hard Landing: He starts walking away, unsure if he is supposed to make sure that Steve is still breathing or that Captain America is not.

Leviticus 25: "You want to save Bucky Barnes? You are going to have to put your own house in order first because he is going to need a rock to cling to. You are not ready to be that rock for him. You owe it to him -- and more importantly, you owe it to yourself -- to figure things out, figure out how you can be happy in this time and place, whether or not Barnes is with you."

Recursive: In the wake of the HYDRA revelations, Steve Rogers finds himself both a pawn of the rebuilding SHIELD hierarchy and the leader of a newly-independent Avengers. He’s got masters he can’t run from, teammates he can’t let down, and a best friend who is turning his newly remembered past to ashes. But when a blast from a mysterious device seemingly sends him back to 1944, Steve has to decide if he should he change his past and risk ruining his future by fixing his greatest mistake.

Excerpts from Interview #2 with SHIELD prisoner #2935734H: The prisoner has revealed that he was part of the 'asset management team' controlling the HYDRA operator known as the Winter Soldier [possibly SGT J. B. Barnes, US Army, MIA 5 September 1944, declared KIA 12 December 1944]. Further questioning suggested after follow-ups on provided information complete.

That Others May Live: Sam was prepared to help Steve bring Bucky Barnes in from the cold, but this is not exactly how he'd figured on it going down.

MCU: the odds and ends drawer: CA:TWS missing scene: Maria Hill & Nick Fury | CA:TWS post-movie scene: Natasha in flight | CA:TWS sorta-missing scene: Where in the world is Tony Stark? | CA:TWS sorta post-movie scene: Tony (and Rhodey) and the possible ghost of James Barnes. | CA:TWS sorta-missing scene: Where in the world is Clint Barton? | Freezer Burn universe: the beginnings of Codename Pandora | FBu: Codename Pandora: the introduction of Sam Wilson | FBu: Miranda Tung in Codename Pandora | FBu: Steve's hipster tendencies

PSD: Sam tags along when Steve goes up to New York to ask Tony for help.

For the first time since 2004, this list contains no SGA:

In the Land That Our Grandchildren Knew:
1 - Fair Fare: Steve and Bucky, summer of ‘39. (Steve POV)
2 - In Miniature: Being Steve Rogers’s best friend is good training for ambulance work. (Bucky POV)
3 - Antediluvian: Bucky and Steve haven’t done anything apart in fifteen years, but war changes everything. (Bucky POV)
4 - La Caduta: Bucky’s war, from captivity to Commando, and the most unlikely reunion of all. (Bucky POV)

BOHICA: Clint Barton, in transition.

Rock of Gibraltar: Pepper’s reasons for cleaning up Tony’s messes are different now, professionally and personally, but some of them go back longer than she does and none of them loom larger than the ghost of Howard Stark.

Freezer Burn: The adventures of Steve Rogers, defrosted soldier, who is missing time but not really all that lost. He’s got a surprisingly broad knowledge of lettuces, a working grasp of modern technology, and may or may not be using both to mess with his teammates and save the world.

Archival: Unlike everyone else at SHIELD, Natasha can trace her surprise to the fact that she knows exactly what the Winter Soldier looks like, but she’s never heard of James Barnes.

Freezer Burn post-credits scene: Steve reacts as well as can be expected to finding out about the Winter Soldier. Which is to say not well at all.

Thaw: The Winter Soldier was the dog that ate the good guys’ homework during the Cold War, a convenient bogeyman to explain failure, and Clint Barton was pretty sure those tall tales died with the fall of the Wall. But reality is stranger than fiction, something Clint really shouldn’t be as surprised by as he is at this stage of his career, and now there are ghosts to chase once more.

Revenant: Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves.

All told, about 450k words in a fandom I had never written in before with a half-dozen narrators I'd never tried before. And I think I pulled it off. :) It was also my first personal experience with how different fandoms flourish on different platforms. My top five stories on AO3 are all from this list; Freezer Burn alone probably has more hits than the 79 SGA stories I have up there combined, but I got more comments for it on Tumblr than I did here. Not a complaint, just an acceptance of the 'different platforms' thing. Most of you are here from SGA or something else that doesn't involve Captain America. 'Sokay.

Anyway, by all conceivable metrics, I deem 2013 a good year for fannish productivity. I got myself a new fandom where the canon doesn't frustrate the hell out of me, I wrote a lot, I got a little attention for that writing, and I'm grateful for all of it. Ever onward.
