I think I knew about the pseud change because it was an "...oh!!" moment when it happened. It's like realizing tumblr people are people I knew from LJ from something they say or reblog. :)
The formatting is the thing that makes importing to AO3 so hard; LJ to AO3 makes some weird things happen and it's easier to copy-paste, but that in turn presents its own issues.
