As part of your audience, can I say that what I need is the rest of your SGA stuff on AO3? I wasn't much of an SGA fan even at the time (SG-1 is my jam) but yours was some of the best stuff. Also, I haven't bothered to watch most Marvel films in years, and haven't bothered to seek out Marvel fic in years either--if it gets recced to me, or if one of my favorite authors writes it, sure, but not even all the time then. Marvel killed my love, except for occasional exceptions such as Captain Marvel and Black Panther. I read your stuff because I enjoy you as a writer, whatever fandom you happen to be in.
There is no way to be a writer for longer than about two years and give all your readers everything they "need." You just can't. People have different needs. People have different reasons for following you. By all means, keep your readership in mind, but ... too much concern for it is only going to drive you nuts.
