In answer to your closing question--I've been making the most of my time off, and by that I mean spending too much time playing the very silly RPG "West of Loathing". This year has been pretty brutal, so it's nice to be able to focus for a few days on nothing more fraught than killing evil cows and skeletons and the occasional clown.

But I'm trying to plan out how to get more writing done in the new year--I've really slacked off over the last 8 months or so.
